The Family

1985 Lubitel 166B, 1979 KMZ Zenit-E, 1985 Minolta X700, 2007 Nikon D40.

A bunch of cameras camwhoring. Heh.

I love the Soviet camera's industrial design. Simple and reliable. As sharp as the Soviet sickle and as hard as the hammer that crosses it.

In vintage Japan camera, I prefer Pentax and Olympus's stylings.

Nowadays I'm fond of Nikon's ergonomics and boldness though I am sometimes captivated by Canon's sensual curves and simple lines.

When people ask me what camera to buy, I would usually tell them to go and grab the one that feels nicest to their hands.

All in all, it's just a tool. It's what you do with it that matters.

Right?
