   eh ko rasa siapa design logo Majlis Perbandaran Selayang tu eh? orang sama yang nak design logo batch tu ke? hahah!
   but no seriously, buruk ah..aku observe, logo2 kerajaan e.g sekolah, imigresen etc, semua macam budak yang menang "pertandingan mencipta logo tahap satu" yang design...mesti ada gambar gear, buku and other simple vector drawings. and diorang tak rasa buruk ke?

   Tu la tuh, design satu perspective ni. Aku ade study logo design and some of the most successful logos in the world have nothing to do with what the company/organization is doing. Simple example, apple and computers. That is contrary to the general idea of logos which have to symbolizes what the company does, macam kalau company bekalan air, mesti ada gambar paip, water droplets, kaler biru.
   
   Tu la tuh, pertandingan mencipta logo. Malaysian tak appreciate art and design, bagi most of us, janji ade sudah. Sebab tu la tak boleh nak maju, branding takde. Buat sos cili cap Hajah Habsah, name dah lame, packaging lame, pastu nak compete dengan Heinz. Orang tak beli kate orang tak support local product.
   
   The only reason ada pertandingan logo is because that particular organization don't want to pay to hire a proper design and branding consultant. So they buat la competition which of course costs less. Still, better la ada competition rather than upah adik abang despatch tu buat sebab dengar cerita dia reti guna Photoshop.
   
   Among banyak-banyak logo sekolah, Koleq punya awesome kan? Takde nak poyo-poyo letak buku ke ape ke. Simbolism rekaan ke. The tiger symbolizes the Federal government. The quad colour on the shield symbolizes the college's founders and the 4 Negeri Bersekutu. The keris is for the Malay people. Only the laurel has anything to do with academia, symbolizing success. Tak payah nak biru melambangkan perpaduan. Pelita melambangkan semangat berkobar-kobar untuk belajar. Heh.
